The National Zoological Park and Conservation Biology Institute is looking to fill the role of Supervisory Biologist (Curator) for Elephants. At the National Zoological Park (NZP) in Washington, D.C., the incumbent is responsible for maintaining excellence in all aspects of the Asian Elephant program as well as other collection animals as assigned. Duties include the direct supervision of the area staff, oversight of the care and welfare of the elephant herd, supporting excellence in the education and science programs associated with the elephant program, and generally serving as an engaged member of the Animal Care Sciences curatorial team.
