The Elephant Managers Association’s Vision is to be the leader in the elephant management industry fostering professional development and personal connections that advance elephant care, welfare, research and conservation. This vision, in conjunction with our mission and objectives, gave us the inspiration behind our #askmeaboutelephants campaign.
EMA members are “THE” ambassadors for elephants worldwide. We are comprised of professional elephant managers, administrators, veterinarians, researchers and enthusiasts who are in the field dedicating their life to elephants every day. Collectively our knowledge and efforts inspire the world providing passion, commitment and unity for a single species.*
#askmeaboutelephants is our way to let others know that we are the resource for elephant information. Stay tuned for more educational components of this campaign.
Help us spread our campaign by purchasing our limited edition #askmeaboutelephants merchandise and don’t forget to use our hashtag in all elephant related social media posts. This limited edition merchandise is only available through September 18, 2017. You can have it shipped to the 2017 EMA Conference OR shipped to your home address.
*The suggestion of “…unity for a single species” was meant to be inclusive of all elephant species. The EMA recognizes that there are three (3) unique elephant species: Elephas maximus, Loxodonta africana, Loxodonta cyclotis.
